DEPEDRO was a really intense recording. 10 hours a day, Joey was flying around, letting all his art out, and always taking care of me, while doing all kinds of overdubs. What an artistic capability!! John bringing in his own magic with the drum sticks, (there..s no one in the world like him) .Joey and Jonh did most of the recordings at the first take. Jacob in the meanwhile dresses the songs a bit more with that enormous and cool sound of his trumpet. The wind section does a fantastic job with Jeff, Eric, and Marco (astounding baritone sax solo!!). All of it is directed by Chris, the guy with the biggest patience and predisposition that I ever met… and what an appetite!
